Design 4 Change was a Fanshawe College initiative pairing senior graphic design students with local non-profit organizations giving both sides something real: students got meaningful briefs, non-profits got professional creative work, for free.
For the inaugural edition, I led the visual identity for the event itself, the thing that had to make all of that work feel worth showing up for.
The concept is rooted in collaboration. Intertwined hands became the central illustration motif as a direct reference to the partnerships at the heart of the project, and to the hands-on nature of design as a craft.
The illustration style is expressive and human, highlighting the community spirit of the event.

The identity extended across social media, print postcards, and event signage; each format was adapted to context while keeping the visual language consistent.
also designed a short motion piece that served as the event introduction and transition screen during the live presentation; this was the first time I worked in motion, and a reminder that a brand identity lives in time as much as it does on paper.
Design 4 Change represents the convergence of creative vision, meaningful collaboration, and the power of design to drive positive change.
