Display typeface intended for projects with special focus on textbooks, kids booklets, science webpages, and science videos.
For the creation of the typeface, I looked for inspiration in the smallest organism of the science world; by looking at microbiology textbooks and videos, I abstracted organic graphic elements that reflected these.
I had to figure out a way to make the letter shapes look organic and “microbial” without losing legibility; for that purpose, I used the inner elements to further differentiate the letterforms by making custom shapes to every letter, while also trying to maintain cohesiveness all around the design.
